Ordering StarHub Broadband Plan with Promotion 2022 - Review

Today, I ordered a 2-year Starhub broadband plan for my home by physically going to the Starhub shop at NEX.

The Schedule

There will be 2 appointments. 

  • The first appointment is on 10 August 2022. The tech from NetLink Trust will activate the second fiber point. The first fiber optic point is configured for M1 and cannot be used for Starhub. 
  • The second appointment is on 15 August 2922. Starhub tech will install a modem and connect to the Fibre Broadband network. Wifi route is not included. I will use my existing one. 
I was Advised to wear a mask for my safety when tech arrives, coz the tech visits many places.

Things to Remember

  1. I must Remember to cancel the current M1 broadband after installation and may need to return the M1 Huawei modem.
  2. Later,  I have to Install MyStarHub app to activate Disney Plus till 22 Feb 2023. Then pay S$12 per month or cancel your subscription.

Sony Vegas Pro 8 makes it easier to edit videos from different cameras right from the timeline. You can capture and edit video for a single scene from 2 or more cameras or for a single scene shot a few times with one camera. Here is a tutorial of a Multicamera Edit of a drama I shot. FCPX - The storage device "Macintosh HD" is almost full

The message "The storage device Macintosh HD is almost full" appeared when I was editing a video with Final Cut Pro X on my new Apple Macbook Air M1.   Final Cut Pro Taking up Too Much Space  My Macbook Air M1 had only 256GB of storage onboard. My raw footage was only about 9GB. The biggest file was the FCPX project files itself at about 140GB! How did 9GB become 140GB? There is not enough disk space for my Final Cut Pro.
