My AI Prompt for Making Decisions and Staying on Trend

I had a problem choosing the right idea to work on. I have so many ideas from various sources, including viewers and analytics.  I want to create content that resonates with my followers and that is up-to-date with trends.  To tackle this challenge, I turned to AI.  I decided to consult AI on selecting the most promising idea. I fed AI my top five Tiktok video titles from the past seven days for analysis. Then AI swiftly processed the data and offered an insightful recommendation.  It suggested a title with a similar theme to my current popular videos. Not only did AI confirm that this topic aligned with my audience's interests, but it also revealed that it was a trending topic with relatively few existing content pieces.  Excitement sparked within me as I realized the potential this idea held. Taking immediate action, I spent five minutes recording a one-minute video.  Following the recording, I dedicated an hour to editing a 30-second video, while simultaneously live-streaming th

My Content Creation Journey Today: Project Y, Live Streaming, and More

I forgot my YouTube password and hence my multi-streaming device was not fully operational. Today was a day of challenges and learnings that I want to document and reflect on. So I could not stream on multiple platforms as planned. I decided to stream only on Facebook, using the Facebook app on my iPhone, which led to the discovery that I can schedule and promote my upcoming live events with it to get more live viewers. Another challenge was that I did not complete editing six chapters of Project Y as intended. I only did four, which made me feel unsatisfied. I realized that I should use my more efficient method of recording and speaking at the same time, instead of recording and voice-over later. On a positive note, I acquired some new skills.  When I was streaming again on TikTok Live at 5 pm, a viewer asked me how another TikToker did her special effects. I analyzed the video and recreated the effect live for the viewer. He was appreciative and so was I. I learned something ne

How I Prioritized My Tasks and Went Live on TikTok

The Challenge of Prioritizing Tasks... I woke up this morning feeling overwhelmed. I had a lot of tasks on my plate, and I wasn't sure where to start. I had several overdue sponsored product reviews, one review video that was halfway done, and a daily CapCut video editing tutorial to create. I also hadn't been live streaming for almost a week. When I go live, it's usually about sharing my knowledge about CapCut video editing with my audience. I was hesitant to go live because I was afraid that the sponsors of the product reviews would complain that I wasn't spending time on their products. But then I thought about it, and I realized that my followers on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube grew exponentially because of my CapCut video editing tutorials. The sponsors come to me because of the number of followers I have, and they are engaged followers. And live streaming is a powerful way to engage them even further. So I decided to go live while creating the ne

How I Edited My Yololiv Instream Review Video in Less Than 45 Minutes

Image
I'm glad that I was able to complete the edit of chapter 8 of my Yololiv Instream review video in 45 minutes.  This is a significant improvement from the previous chapter, which took me 2 hours to edit.  I was able to achieve this by learning that I don't need to use AI to make my spoken words perfect. As long as viewers can understand what I'm saying, that's all that matters. Tomorrow, I'm going to try to complete multiple chapters in a single day. I'm also going to try to just voice over my videos spontaneously without writing down the script.  I think this will help me to be more natural and engaging.  What are your thoughts on my editing process? I'm excited to see what I can accomplish tomorrow! ~ Adrian Lee  Thanks to Bard for improving my journal. Ps: Today, I embarked on the task of utilizing AI tools, including ChatGPT, BARD, and Bing, to assist me in the process of video production. My intention was to leverage the capabilities of these tools to en

What I Learned from Teaching a Smartphone Video Production Workshop

Image
I had a great time teaching a smartphone video production class on Sunday. It was a full-day workshop where I shared my tips and tricks on how to create engaging videos using only a smartphone. I also modified the lessons from a two-day format to a one-day format to suit the needs of the participants. Some of the achievements of the day were: - Completing the modified lessons on time and covering all the essential topics. - Having 20+ participants who were highly interactive and produced some interesting videos. - Revealing my updated social media findings for the first time in a class and showing how to do more than upload a video to get more reach in a social media presence. Some of the challenges I faced were: - Forgetting to take a group photo with the participants. I always like to capture the memories of each workshop. - Feeling tired because of the late-night preparation for the modified slides. I wanted to make sure everything was perfect and relevant. - Forgetting to pre-info

How I Created a Product Review Video, and a Lead Magnet, in One Day (And What I Learned Along the Way)

Image
Being a content creator is not easy, but it can be rewarding and fun. Let me tell you how I managed to create three different types of content in one day and what I learned from the process.  Today was another productive day for me as a content creator. I made some progress on my Project Y long-form product review video, which is a series of 1-minute chapters that showcase the features and benefits of the product. I finished one chapter today and posted it on various video platforms. I still have 6 more chapters to go. I also repurposed my Wednesday 1-hour YouTube live-stream recording of a full Capcut video editing class into a lead magnet. I offered it as a pay-what-you-want download. This way, I can provide value to my followers and also generate some income from my work. Speaking of followers, I'm happy to report that one of my Facebook reels reached 50k plays after 14 days of posting. This reel was about how to use Capcut to create stunning videos for social media. It seems th

Content Creator Shares Lessons Learned and Goals for the Future

Image
Another day, another productive step toward my content creation goals. Here's a recap: Achievements... - I created and distributed a TikTok editing tutorial video across multiple platforms. - I streamed live while making the video above and chatting with my followers. - I edited one chapter of a long-form video and distributed it as shorts, reels, and on another TikTok channel for that niche.  Challenges... - I didn't make any online course sales today. I need to level up my course promotion game. - I still have five product reviews pending. I need to get those done to unlock more affiliate opportunities. - I haven't optimized yesterday's live stream recording. I need to polish it up for monetization and lead magnet.  Lessons Learned... - One chapter of the long-form video took about 2 hours to edit. I'll need to dedicate a total of 12 hours to finish the rest. Good thing I plan to make them short and standalone! - AI is my productivity secret sauce. Toggling betwee
