Easy Fried Rice Recipe with Egg, Chicken and Veggies
Here is how I prepared an easy fried rice dinner with egg.
The recipe is inspired by https://healthynibblesandbits.com/easiest-egg-fried-rice/ ... with a lot of major modifications.
Ingredients:
Steps:
- Cook fresh rice with just enough water so it does not turn out soggy (no need for overnight rice).
- Pour mixed vegetables and crispy chicken into the wok.
- Turn on the fire and stir.
- Add cooked rice.
- Add corn cooking oil, salt, sugar, sesame oil, light soy sauce, black pepper, and Italian herb.
- Stir fry the mixture.
- Create a hole in the center and pour eggs.
- Scramble the eggs.
- Stir fry everything.
- Serve.
What I could do better next time is to add less salt and keep stirring while the fire is at high heat, because this one was a little too salty and some rice was a bit too crispy-chewy.
