TPG Mobile Plans Review - New TPG Account Registration

Previously, I researched Which SIM- ONLY plan is best in Singapore 2022... https://adriansjournal.blogspot.com/2022/03/m1-mobile-plan-review-which-mobile-plan.html

I have concluded that for a phone that uses very little data and very little live streaming, then we could go for the plan with S$10 for 100GB 4G for 30 days no contract  ...https://www.tpgmobile.sg/home

How do I create a TPG account? How to Port from M1 to TPG? Where to Collect TPG SIM card?

  • First, I go to https://www.tpgmobile.sg/home and select "S$10 for 100 GB" Plan.

  • Register by retrieving my info with SingPass.

  • Type in a new password for the TPG account.
  • Click on NEXT.
  • Select Port-in from another Telco.  Choose the current telco, M1, and enter the mobile number.

  • Click on NEXT.
  • Check the summary and acknowledge the terms and conditions.

  • Click on NEXT.
  • Select Payment Type and click on place My Order. After the Dream Cruise closing down case, I decided to use credit card for all my prepaid transactions for that chargeback protection.

  • Received an email from TPG confirming the payment, order, and port-in request, with the Order ID.
  • I have to collect my TPG SIM card at these locations. The order will expire if your SIM card is not collected by 2022-06-23. Refunds are not permitted.
  • TPG Service Centre

  • For verification, I have to present the following upon collection:
      • the Order Confirmation Email;
        • the Identification Document (ID). Only the original copy is accepted;
          • a copy of the latest Monthly Proof of Billing with both name and number stated.

        Update next day: I went to the TPG Orchard Central branch.

        • Showed the 3 documents. Only my ID card is physical. The others from my phone.
        • The staff took some pictures of my ID card and documents.
        • I was issued the SIM card.

        At the same time, an email arrived.

        "...We will notify once the port in request is approved... Port-In Request Submission Date: 27/03/2022... Expected Port-In Date: 28/03/2022... Expected Port-In Timeslot: Within 1 working day (excluding Sat, Sun & Public Holidays)... An email notification will be sent to you when your port-in request is completed..."

        Until then, I will update this post.
