 🤔 Just finished Squid Game 2, Episode 3, and I am hooked! Interestingly, I never watched Season 1 because I wasn’t a fan of all the gore and blood splattering. But after years of dramas on Disney+, Netflix, and Amazon Prime, I’ve grown somewhat desensitized—every show seems to lean heavily into it these days.  That said, I realized Season 2 really relies on the detailed knowledge of Season 1. Even though I skipped it, the story and tension in Season 2 are gripping enough to keep me invested. What’s funny is, I can’t stop comparing it to Beast Games on Amazon Prime, which I watched first. It’s clear Beast Games takes heavy inspiration from Squid Game, but with one major difference: no one dies! While Squid Game thrives on high-stakes survival, Beast Games focuses more on strategy and competition.
