How I Got 1 Million Views on a TikTok E-commerce Video Selling a Shower Head Holder Without Ads

🚿 Here’s how I got 1 million views on an e-commerce video without spending a cent on ads. This is about a 58-second TikTok video I created to sell a simple shower head holder through TikTok Shop as an affiliate, earning a commission on each sale. Yes, a shower head holder—nothing fancy or tech-related. It was a silent challenge to myself to prove I could sell anything with a video. First, I requested a free sample from the vendor so I could feature it in my video. Then, I posted the video on TikTok with a link to the product, allowing the vendor to track clicks and pay me a commission for every unit sold. That video has been up for five months now. Today, it has over 6,600 likes, 230+ comments, 1,700 saves, and a whopping 1 MILLION views. Amazing, right? And all without paying for ads. Here’s how I made it happen: ✅️Teach, don’t sell. I scripted the video in a problem-solution format, like a tutorial. Instead of pushing a sale, I showed viewers step-by-step how I solved a commo...

Honest Product Review: Why I'm Sharing My Disappointment (and Unexpected Sales!)

Ever bought something that promised the moon but delivered… well, not even a crater? 😅  I've been there!  As a content creator, I get to try out a lot of products. Some are amazing, some are just okay, and then there are the ones that make you wonder, "Did they even test this thing?"   Recently, I reviewed a product that fell squarely into the "disappointment" category.   It didn't live up to its advertising claims, and I made sure to point out all the discrepancies in my review video. Now, usually, if a product is truly bad, I'll just post the review on one platform and call it a day.   I figure it's not worth promoting something I wouldn't recommend to my own family and friends.   BUT here's the crazy part: this video has been generating sales!  I was completely shocked.  People are actually buying this thing despite my honest review. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson.  Even negative reviews can drive sale...

From Overwhelm to Action: How I Published a Video in 2 Hours

This morning, I felt completely unmotivated. Too many ideas, too many reminders, and no clear starting point. I even considered deleting everything just to clear my mind.  The Struggle: I had a long list of ideas but felt stuck. My calendar was packed with tasks, and my motivation was low. The Breakthrough: Instead of overthinking, I removed unnecessary reminders and focused on just ONE task: making a CapCut tutorial. The Result: In 2 hours and 15 minutes, I researched, scripted, recorded, edited, voiced over, and published a 38-second tutorial. No batching, no overplanning—just action. Sometimes, the best way to regain focus is to simplify. Instead of juggling too many tasks, just pick one and execute. Action beats overthinking. Have you ever felt stuck with too many ideas? How do you get yourself to take action? ~ Adrian Lee  @adrianvideoimage
