How To Calm My Anxiety

It happens all the time starting from 7 days before the class or shoot.

FEAR, ANXIETY, AND UNCERTAINTY!

Here’s a calming mental exercise…

  • Check-in with yourself 3 times a day.
  • Are you focusing on the negative things that may happen?
  • Or are you excited about the opportunities ahead of you?
  • Our minds focus on the negatives as a survival instinct.
  • Shift your focus and break the pattern.
  • Acknowledge the emotion and thought.
  • Be aware of the trigger causing the emotion and thought.
  • DO NOT fix the emotion.
  • FIX the trigger!
  • Focus on the opportunity instead of the problem.
  • You are not your thought, feeling and emotion.
  • Your emotion is the feedback to your current thought.
  • Learn from your emotion.
  • Feel your emotion fully.
  • Give yourself permission to feel the emotion fully.
  • It’s like bringing light into the darkness.
  • Fear, anxiety and uncertainty will slowly fade away.
  • We are more afraid of the dark than what’s hiding in the dark.
