 1. Download and install AudioShell ID3 tag editor for PC from here - direct tag editing from Windows Vista/7/8 Explorer

2. Right click the video, "AudioShell" > "Tag Editor". This will open the software. On right side, you can add your own custom "Art" / thumbnail and save it.

3. Now open whatsapp on PC through whatsapp web and send the video to desired contact. Once the video is downloaded by recipient, he/she will see your custom thumbnail.
