How to take selfies with the back camera of your phone for those sharper wider shots... and see yourself too?
🤳 How to take selfies with the back camera of your phone for those sharper wider shots... and see yourself too?
I’ve been testing a gadget that makes this a reality.
It’s a Rear Selfie Monitor. Think of it as a second screen for your phone.
This lets you use the highest quality camera on your smartphone to shoot videos or take ultra wide selfies, while still being able to frame the shot perfectly.
Here's how I'm using it:
- I can now use my phone's main camera for high-quality TikTok unboxing videos and live streams.
- I can take wide-angle selfies that show more of the environment behind me.
- It even works as a remote monitor, like what a movie director uses on set.
The monitor is magnetic, so it just snaps onto the back of your phone. If your phone isn't magnetic, no problem—it comes with a magnetic ring you can stick on.
It works with both iPhones and Androids and has its own rechargeable battery.
This simple tool lets me focus on creativity without getting bogged down by technical limitations, which is what smartphone filmmaking is all about.
