How to let AI edit your videos for FREE (in under 2 minutes)

 If you are a beginner vlogger, a small business owner, or an entrepreneur trying to build your brand, you already know the biggest bottleneck in content creation: editing.

Staring at a timeline for hours trying to match clips to music or record the perfect voiceover is exhausting. But what if I told you that you could offload the heavy lifting to AI—completely for free?

The 60-Second AI Editing Workflow

This method is perfect for quick social media updates, product showcases, or daily vlogs.

Step 1: Prep your clips

Open the YouTube Create app and select the clips you want to use.

Constraint check: You can upload up to 25 clips (maximum 5 minutes of raw footage).

Step 2: Set your parameters

Instead of manually dragging things around on a timeline, click Next and tell the AI what you want:

  • Length: Choose your final video duration (e.g., 30 to 60 seconds).

  • Elements: Toggle on music, captions, and an AI voiceover.

  • Style: Pick a vibe. (In my video, I chose "Documentary" just for fun, and the results were surprisingly cinematic!)


Step 3: Let the AI work

Tap Next. The AI will automatically analyze your media, highlight the best parts of your selected clips, sequence them, sync the music, and generate the voiceover.


Step 4: The Pro Polish

Here is where we separate the amateurs from the pros. The AI will give you a fantastic rough cut, but every professional edit needs a trim.

Don't just blindly export what the AI gives you. Play it back. Does the pacing feel right? Is the AI voiceover matching the visual perfectly? Go into the editor and manually tighten up the cuts. The AI builds the house, but you have to decorate it. Once you're happy with the trims, choose your frame rate and resolution, and hit export.

FCPX - The storage device "Macintosh HD" is almost full

The message "The storage device Macintosh HD is almost full" appeared when I was editing a video with Final Cut Pro X on my new Apple Macbook Air M1.   Final Cut Pro Taking up Too Much Space  My Macbook Air M1 had only 256GB of storage onboard. My raw footage was only about 9GB. The biggest file was the FCPX project files itself at about 140GB! How did 9GB become 140GB? There is not enough disk space for my Final Cut Pro. Why Is Final Cut Pro Taking up So Much Storage Final Cut Pro renders files in high-quality media so that we can playback our edits smoothly direct from the timeline.  It creates multiple HUGE high-quality files of our footage in the background.   It is a good thing, so as to maintain high-quality final edited video, BUT not a good thing for a laptop with only 256GB. Macbook Air M1 Case

I bought a transparent case for my MacBook Air M1 . It came with a free screen protector, a keyboard cover, and some rubber plugs to cover the ports. Check it out! https://youtu.be/d-wALSd3nn8 I didn't expect the rubber plugs. It was a nice surprise. The case fits snuggly, with access to all the ports. The keyboard cover is almost invisible to the eye. I have no intention to use the screen protector. Why?
