1. Opening

This gadget has one charging case, two wireless mics, and three types of adapters. This is the BoyaLink Wireless Microphone System.

Introduction

In this video, I want to share my experience with the Boya BoyaLink Wireless Microphone System.

I’ll be unboxing it, showing you how to set it up, and how to use it, testing its audio quality, stereo, battery life, and sharing my honest thoughts on whether it’s worth buying.

So, let’s get started!

2. Unboxing and First Impression

👍 The BoyaLink includes a charging case that contains all the essentials. There are two microphones, one for the host and another for the guest or as a spare. It also has a receiver, attached with a 3.5mm TRS adapter for standard microphone inputs. There is a USB C adapter suitable for Android phones and tablets. Then there is a Lightning adapter for iPhones before iPhone 15 and older iPads. Two furry windshields are included to block wind noise. All the components are compact, lightweight, and have a sturdy feel. Anything else? The box also contains a storage pouch, a USB charging cable, a warranty card, and a quick start guide. 3. How to Set Up and Use

👍 Here's how to use BoyaLink. What camera are you using today? Select the right adapter and insert it into the receiver. Connect the receiver to your camera. Press and hold the power button until a blue light starts blinking. Pick up a microphone. Press and hold the power button. It will connect automatically with the receiver. The blue light will stop blinking. Clip the microphone to your color. Start recording as usual. Here are two additional settings I will do for regular voice recording. On the receiver, I will switch from stereo to mono. On the transmitter, set the audio to the loudest level. Press the plus button until the blue light starts blinking. This is a one-time setup. The microphone will remember my last setting. Remember to mute it when you go to the restroom. Just press the power button once. A red light will start blinking. How to reduce background noise? Press the plus and minus buttons together to activate noise reduction. The blue light will turn green. My voice in this video is recorded with this mic. The BoyaLink Wireless Microphone  System. 👍 I'm going to test the noise reduction feature of this mic. Just press the plus and minus buttons together to activate noise reduction. Press again to deactivate. I am opening the window to let some noise into the office. Listen to how my voice sounds like without a mic. Listen to how my voice sounds with the mic. Listen to how my voice sounds with the noise reduction on. Now I'm going outdoors near the traffic. Listen to how my voice sounds like without the mic. Listen to how my voice sounds with the mic. 5. Mono / Stereo Output Switchable.

👍 The BoyaLink comes with two microphones. Put on your headphones because I'm about to demonstrate what the BoyaLink can do. When I'm recording alone, I will switch to Mono on the receiver so that you can hear me in both your ears. If I'm going to record with a guest, I'm going to switch to Stereo on the receiver so that my voice is heard in one ear and my guest is heard in the other ear, which means I can go into Capcut desktop to separate the voices. This is not your simple to use low-cost wireless mic. It's on a professional level. If you are not into capturing professional-quality audio in your videos, then this is not for you. There are a lot of adjustments you can make to optimize the quality in various situations... Gain control, stereo mono, and noise reduction. More... the adapter is locked so that it does not fall dislodge easily... The windshield is also locked so that it does not fall off easily. All these are what a professional would expect. Macbook Air M1 Case

I bought a transparent case for my MacBook Air M1 . It came with a free screen protector, a keyboard cover, and some rubber plugs to cover the ports. Check it out! https://youtu.be/d-wALSd3nn8 I didn't expect the rubber plugs. It was a nice surprise. The case fits snuggly, with access to all the ports. The keyboard cover is almost invisible to the eye. I have no intention to use the screen protector. Why? I need to see the true color of the display for my YouTube videos. ~ Adrian Lee  @Adrian Video Image  The video was recorded on iPhone 12 Pro Max with Filmic Pro app in 4K 60fps and edited with Capcut.

Sony Vegas Pro 8 Tutorial - Multicamera Editing

Sony Vegas Pro 8 makes it easier to edit videos from different cameras right from the timeline. You can capture and edit video for a single scene from 2 or more cameras or for a single scene shot a few times with one camera. Here is a tutorial of a Multicamera Edit of a drama I shot. The drama was acted out four times to the public and being a non-profit organization, the client have budget only for one videographer. For each of the 4 acts, the camcorder (Sony HDR-FX7 High Definition Camcorder) was placed at 4 different positions and shot in various angles. Multicamera edit is accomplished in only 8 steps with the Sony Vegas Pro 8. Step #1: Capture Multicamera Video Clips Use the normal Sony Vegas Video Capture function to capture recordings from each camera. Give each capture filename a unique name. Enable scene detection before capturing so that each segment is captured as a separate clip. Step #2 : Layout Video Clips on Timeline Drag and drop video clips over each other on the...
