Adrian Video Image has posted a new item, ' Birthday Surprise from my Kids ' Arrived home late at night and noticed from far a bright pink paper stuck on our front door. Thought it was another one of those many advertising flyers we get everyday. On closer look, I saw a handwritten message for me. So it was written by my kids telling me to go to my room to pick up something. “OK. Now this is going to be exciting. Looks like a treasure hunt.” I thought. So straight into the bedroom I went and saw on my mattress 2 hand-made birthday greeting cards with another note on a bright pink paper. The note says go to the kitchen and look into the fridge top shelf to find something that looks like a candle. Immediately, I did that, anticipating more surprises. Inside the fridge is yet another bright pink note with “Happy Birthday Daddy!”. Beside the note is a creamy looking desert with a marshmallow candle stuck on top. All along I thought I loved Ajisen Ramen until today. Today I ordered the original dish without the chilli. So actually I just loved arisen chilli! Makes me wonder. Do I really like Japanese ramen? Just the other day, as I was taking a break from work, I searched YouTube on my iPhone for “Angry Birds”. I was looking for more entertaining Angry Bird trailers by Rovio. Adrian Video Image has posted a new item, ' Burmese Laksa vs Singapore Laksa ' This Friday’s food is the Burmese Laksa aka Myanmar Laksa. I know Singapore Laksa and Penang Laksa but I have never heard of the Burmese Laksa. So this is my first time tasting it at the Kopitiam Vivocity Singapore. First look, the gravy is less reddish compared with my favorite Singapore Laksa. It is more of a light yellow. First taste, very thick coconut milk flavor. Texture is just as thick. Immediately reminds me of the green Thai curry. How spicy is the gravy? I would rate 1 out of 10, 10 being extreme spicy and 1 being just starting to get spicy. Raw onions, also my favorite, made the dish more exciting. Raw onions are not found in the Singapore Laksa. The noodle is a let down. I was expecting the thick white vermicelli noodle. Instead it was the regular yellow noodle. Overall I enjoyed the Burmese Laksa as a dish on it’s own. It cannot be compared with the Singapore Laksa because

Until now the iPhone iMovie can edit only videos shot with it’s own camera or video from another iPhone camera. You cannot edit videos from other video source. How many video formats can it support? Maybe I am guessing that it works this way. The only way to find out is to upgrade my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.0 then upgrade iMovie. This new version works only on iOS 5.0. Stay tuned for my review. Adrian Video Image has posted a new item, ' Who Do You Call for Car Breakdown Service ' I always call AA, Automobile Association of Singapore, when my car break down in the middle of nowhere… And AA always arrive earlier than the promised one hour. Had to reschedule an important meeting today because my grand old Kia Spectra just wouldn’t start in the carpark at home. It’s not as old as you think… The mileage clocked is still very low compared with other cars of the same age of 7 to 8 years. A cabin lamp was left on overnight, hence drained out the battery. The battery was recharged and I was given a choice whether to change the battery to a new one. (this is like an annual affair) Since the battery is already 15 months old, I decided to change it to new one which costs… S$175! At least there is peace of mind for another year. My business website built entirely from WordPress also includes scripts in the back end for CRM and emails. To create a good impression on customers, we cannot afford anymore impromptu website disappearing act caused by the web hosting company. Today is the day to take action. Move from Bluehost to Hostgator. Here are several backup steps I took before proceeding. 1. Adrian Video Image has posted a new item, ' Ramen Review on Our Anniversary ' 28 September 2011. Ramen Champion @ iluma. A simple treat to celebrate our 15th anniversary. Heard about the ramen champions and this is our first visit. 6 stalls to choose from. They all looked the same on menu. I picked the one that caught my eye first when we arrived. Ever since the Hokkaido trip, I appreciate authentic Japanese ramen, especially the char siu set. The warm soup exuded sesame oil aroma. The noodles smooth and bouncy. The soft golden egg yolk just flowed in my mouth. Of course the 2 huge slices of char siu was the tastiest part. Noted the length of noodles were just right to lift them into my spoon without the need to cut halfway. I don’t mind a second round but that was a rather big bowl. Adrian Video Image has posted a new item, ' Camtasia MP4 Error and Medialooks Watermark Removal ' Something really annoying happened to my Camtasia today. Wasted four hours of productivity just to figure out the solution. What happened? A “medialooks” logo appeared out of nowhere and stuck itself on the top left hand corner of all my renders. I used the same setting I have always been using for the past few months without problem. How did the “medialooks” logo get there? What did I do wrong? Was it some overlooked settings? After going through all my Camtasia settings, I cannot find anything that will even turn on the logo. Googling for the answer, I learnt  that the uninvited “medialooks” logo will appear in videos when there is some kind of QuickTime trial software installed. Nonsense! I did not install any kind of QuickTime trial programs… wait… I did the regular update of iTunes and QuickTime player 3 days ago. Then some forum expert suggests uninstalling Qui

I thought I have to get the iPhone 5 to use this app. iWork is now on the iPhone 4! I envied the iPad 2 because of iWork. I did not get the iPad because of the size… Won’t fit into my pants pocket. BUT NOW I HAVE IT!!! WOOHOO!!! I am going to create my next Presentation slides with Keynote and write my PDF ebook with Pages. No other app come close.
