How to download Facebook live videos from a private group in HD? This week, while conducting my 2-day Videography And Video Editing Workshop in Singapore , I live streamed the sessions to a private Facebook group. The video was recorded online and looks good when played back in HD 720P. I want to download these recorded sessions to edit them into smaller chunks. Then I discovered that there are many ways to download a private Facebook group video. There are two problems though. Most download methods don’t work and those that work gave me the low-resolution version in 480p. Since there is no proper way to download the high-definition version, I created my own method. Last night… The internet at home got cut off. There was wifi connection but no internet. Upon checking, I found that the modem was not working… No lights on the device. The Huawei modem is supplied by M1 for the fibre broadband. This morning… Called M1 support. M1 support confirmed with me that there are no lights on Modem. Also confirmed whether I have tried to plug in to other power sockets. M1 support arranged a tech to visit on Monday. Today is Saturday. I asked if I can go down to a shop to collect myself. M1 support said for this installation, a tech has to go the the actual location. So, here’s to a weekend at home without Wifi. “Apocalypse!!!” My kids said. I could simply create a new post then copy and paste the content from a page to the post.  Update September 2022: This plugin doesn't seem to work on a desktop anymore but works on a mobile browser.  However, I want to convert the WordPress page into a post for 3 reasons. I want the beautiful URL that the page has (see video). As a post, it goes into the RSS feed whenever I update the date. It’s indexed in Google search and I intend to update it often.
